Hey guys,

I'm not looking for a "good" OD/Distortion. I'm looking for a fantastic one!

Would anybody recommend Radial Tonebone Plexitube or Trimode overdrive?
Are they worth the money? I'm fed up with the Boss/Digitech crap and looking for an OD/Distortion pedal that I can be happy with for a long time.
Even if I'll have to spend a bit more...
I'm open for any recommendation. (2 Channels (or a boost function) are essential!)

I'm playing on a 5 String fretted Viper w/ Barbera PU through an Orange AD30 + Orange 410 cab.

Thanks for your help!

Rock on,
Road

Okay, here's a little update...

I was recommended quite a few ones by different people...

First the T-REX Spin Doctor (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIbarTPNJkg), which I think is really fantastic! Did anybody ever try it or even used it for some time? I love the motorised knobs, and it seems like it's being able to cover a lot of sounds. And a very BIG bonus are the 4 different channels.

A friend of mine also recommended the Blackstar HT-Dual (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9j8Gd6TBVw). It's a bit cheaper than the other one, but also less versatile. And I think the tone is not as warm as the T-REX.

Last but not least I was told to look at the Carl Martin Plexitone. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ng4peS3MjrY)

Hey Tom, no problem!
Without having tried anything yet, the T-Rex is my favorite so long!
4 different channels + bypass + the ability to boost every channel gives me 10 different volume / gain levels, which is really helpful. I have the most trouble with finding the right volume on stage, the levels I need are sometimes really low, on the other hand we have some really loud and heavy songs.... And the T-Rex has got magic knobs, hehehe!

I'll keep you guys up to date!

Cheers.
Chris
