Obviously Mark's a big influence that's why I'm here :viper

But, as many of you probably know there are two TSO's and in the one without Mark (west coast until this past season I believe) is stringmaster Anna Phoebe. Not only does she rock the holliday season with TSO but she has two solo albums, Gypsy (rock+middle easternish) and Rise of the Warrior (metal violin with a story to tell) both on iTunes. For the most part it sounds like she plays acoustic violin, but it's in anything but a classical setting. I love both of these, you can check out clips on her webiste here: http://annaphoebe.com/

Saw her at the East Coast TSO show....she rocked so hard.

l was 5th row, and screamed and stood up when they introduced her and she waved at me at the D.C. show......:-)!!! :viper

Her album and other music are fantastic.

Check them out!!!

Oh wow, how'd you manage to get 5th row? I was so far from the stage, but I want to try for better tickets next year. Of course, no seat stopped me from screaming, and meeting her after the show. I've seen some videos of her with Jethro Tull (a bit different from TSO) any style she plays is fun to watch. She does rock hard, so it's a shame for us North Americans that she mostly tours Europe :(

Yeah, I actually joined AFTER the concert when I realized just how much I love TSO haha. Didn't know that about the tickets though, thanks. Guess I just have to wait until next year.

 I know! I've tried it (after seeing her) and I can do it, but simply can't continue to play well, and can't hold it without being sapped of energy and going red in the face  I'd like to pull it off for my school's talent show though so I'll keep trying. :wish
