Yeah!!!! I have been eagerly awaiting this announcement. I am for sure going, and already have some of my middle schoolers telling me they will be attending. It will be amazing. Who else thinks they may attend? Don't want to miss the very first year of what I am sure is going to be an amazing camp. I hope some of the KC kids will be there, they totally rock. If you haven't ever seen or heard Jesse Marsee play, this KC high schooler is amazing and surely someone to watch!

As soon as I get my tax refund from Uncle Sam I'm registering. I CAN NOT FREAKIN' WAIT! The faculty is amazing. (and among them are my biggest violin heroes!)
Who else is going? I can't believe this thread isn't hoppin'!

i'll hopefully be there as a counselor. i can't afford the camp itself, but just being there is good enough for me, even if it means doing some work (which, hey, who's afraid of that?).

Daughter of Ireland- That's cool you're going to be a counselor! It will still be a great experience! I'm driving 7 hours to get there. I'm a little nervous about it because I've never driven that distance before! (Actually, it's the largest distance I've been from Indiana by automobile!) I want to be there so bad that I don't care that I'm nervous about the driving! It is going to be CRAZY to work with and play in front of all of the people I admire most... I hope I don't blow it! LOL

Fantastic! I can't wait to meet all you good folks in person. May I suggest we have two name tags the first day, one with our "real" name and the other with our forum name on it. :D

Hey Folks,
For those of you attending MWROC and are wanting some rock music to get started with in your school (or for those of you trying to build a library while still in college) I will be bringing all of my arrangements on my laptop and would be happy to transfer them at camp for you onto a flash drive. This is so much easier than having to print them and mail them, or e-mail the huge files one at a time. Bring a flash and find me at camp and I will hook you up.
:D

Cool, I have some new stuff I have done since the last time I sent you music. Nothing Else Matters, Stand by Me, Hey Jude, Carry on My Wayward Son, and a Rascal Flatts tune called "I'm Movin On" the seniors asked me to do for their final Senior Piece. Also have "Money" by Pink Floyd done, but it needs some tweaking, so I may or may not have it ready by camp. DOI, If you have any specific song you would really like, let me know and I will see what I can do.

Oh how I ency you all, I can't attend this time as I don't get free for that week, even though I might bring up the money. I wish you all a lot of fun though!

Regards,

Reinhard

so it turns out i won't be at the camp. i had to turn in my application late because i was very ill, and i guess they filled up all the spots before they got to me. i don't have the money for both the camp and plane tickets, so it looks like i'll just have to try for next year.

That's where I am. People were even encouraging me to just go ahead and use the credit card. As tempting as that was, it's just not feasible. Oh well, I'll still get to see the crew at TODA and there's always next year.

thanks. i'll work on next year, and it turns out i need to get a couple of jobs this summer anyway, so an extra free week in my summer will be helpful in that case. and all your reviews will give me a preview for next year!
